Anna Silk
Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is an actor most well-known for her role as Bo on the Showcase show Lost Girl. Silk was a native of Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. Ilkay who is producer and director of drama at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter who was an academic, worked at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories were of going to play rehearsals as well as watching her mother do the do her job. Silk was a prominent character in numerous commercials while she was a young child. She received a Bachelor's of Arts from St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was a resident of Toronto to pursue her acting career in order to improve, before moving after that, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to in Los Angeles at an Actors workshop. In 2009, they were married in a civil ceremony in December of 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman had a baby boy, her son Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Her most notable role was in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during production of the season three finale, and revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk, who has been involved in the production of Lost Girl since the final season episode premiered on January 6, 2013 on Twitter, announced her intention to return June 4th, 2013 as Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN's Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top TV Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013.
