Ariel Gail
Prof. Gail S. Goodman is the Distinguished Professor of Psychology as well as director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She has been widely recognized for her pioneering work in studying eyewitness testimony and child witnesses in the legal setting. Professor Goodman has published extensively she has received grants from numerous sources and received several international and national prizes. She has collaborated with numerous government agencies and institutions all over the world to conduct studies and policy issues pertaining to children who are people who are victims of the law. She serves as a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center, formerly The Multidisciplinary Interview Center of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a member of numerous professional associations, including the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman also belongs to the Psychonomics Society, the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She was the president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Family and Child Policies and Practice.
