Running with the Wolves is an album released in May 2015 from Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. The singer has released a number of high-profile cover songs, including Half the World Away (by the band Oasis) to accompany John Lewis' Christmas advert and Nature Boy (by Nat King Cole) that were widely appreciated. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry promoted her song Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding an instrument in her attic and becoming enthralled by the sounds it would make. Her parents May-Britt as well as Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a profession or a pastime, but for growth. So she started writing her own songs. Her inspirations include famous writer Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan in addition to her love of Bjork's style. She decided to start performing the songs she wrote publicly after her mother said they could help people not be famous with her music, but rather to help people see around them realize their own importance and how they could impact the world. She started playing piano when she was six years old and started creating music when she was nine. They didn't even have any idea until she was fourteen. Aurora wasn't a dream. Aurora says she loves writing songs. The songs she creates are the way that she feels any thing.
